Did you know, according to the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Research and Improvement, that students are more likely to get good grades if their parents have participated in at least one activity at their school in the last year? (See nces.ed.gov/pubs2001/2001032.pdf)
It takes many hands to run all our events and activities. You can volunteer for small projects, one-time activities, large projects, or year-round. It’s up to you, your schedule, and your comfort level. Go to cubrunpta.org and choose “Volunteer” from our online menu to find out about an array of volunteer positions that are available.
We ask that each parent or caregiver consider volunteering three hours of time per year at our school. We call this our “Three for Me” program. Click here to take the pledge.
